New Haven

Yesterday we woke up to the smell of bacon and an amazing breakfast! The man we were staying with had made an omelet with swiss cheese and crab meat and also a tomato pie. You would've loved it, Mom! We found a LDS church only 10 minutes away from the house. We met a guy there that had been Dann's strength coach at BYU and also a missionary from South Jordan. Pretty small world, at least in the Church! In Relief Society we celebrated a lady's 96th birthday and had a yummy chocolate cake.

After we packed up we headed to Connecticut. It took us a LONG time, at least when I was only expecting about a 4 1/2 hour drive. It ended up 9 hours with traffic and stops for kids. Our new GPS gave us a few good detours that saved some time. We drove past New York City and I saw all those apartment buildings for the first time. Amazing! We made it here to New Haven about 1:30 am.
