Canadians

We have a wanna-be Canadian in our house. All during the Olympics, Sam cheered for Team Canada, no matter the event. Why, you ask? Because he loves the color red, and the Canadians usually had the most red on their outfits. We tried explaining that red is one of the United States' colors, too, but he says we don't have enough red.

We sure enjoyed the Olympics and are sad that they are over. Each night, Sam would beg to stay up past his bedtime to watch with me, and some nights we gave in. His favorite event was the speed skating. In fact, he now plans to be a speed skater himself someday. Guess we'll see about that one...
